Decorating for Christmas

I'm so far behind on posting photos to my blog that I'm posting Christmas pictures in July. It's funny, I thought I was busy with two babies and two toddlers but that's nothing compared to homeschooling two elementary kids. I'm trying to not feel stressed out or guilty for not posting pictures. I do want to keep it up though, because one day I will get caught up. In the meantime... here's Christmas in July. (Dating it as Christmas to keep continuity up.)

The day after Thanksgiving we pulled out the Christmas decorations. Normally I'm a Dec 1st at the earliest kind of girl, but since we were planning on going to Texas this Christmas, we wanted to have time to enjoy our decorations.

We have a big tree and a small one, but again, since we weren't going to be here for Christmas the family voted for the small tree.

Reading all the time, everywhere!

We went to see a junior production of Shrek the Musical. All the actors were kids and they did a great job. The kid that was the gingerbread man was hilarious. Complete stage ham. He carried the production in my opinion!

Maddie's Bangs

Izzie was star of the month at the Music Studio.

And Maddie got BANGS! And they look so good on her.

Izzie got a blunt cut down the back.

We were studying the Oregon Trail and I found the old game I used to play when I was a kid. After the girls got done laughing at the graphics, they had fun playing.

Her egg made three drops up to the 3 foot mark. Great job!
