Maddie's Bangs

Izzie was star of the month at the Music Studio.

Izzie about to get a haircut.

And Maddie got BANGS! And they look so good on her.

Izzie got a blunt cut down the back.

Maddie trying out new hair styles.

We were studying the Oregon Trail and I found the old game I used to play when I was a kid. After the girls got done laughing at the graphics, they had fun playing.

Maddie making a cage for egg drop challenge. Izzie's egg broke during the making of the cage so she was disappointed.

Her egg made three drops up to the 3 foot mark. Great job!

Girl Fest

Making wire sculptures for art class today.

Girl Scout field trip to Girl Fest. I won't go into it here on how much of a huge disappointment this event was other than to say, l wrote a letter to send to council on how poorly I thought this event was run. It was a complete embarrassment to girl scouts.

There were a very few fun things like this opportunity to get in an ambulance.

 I found a Tardis!

My girls have a ducky collection and I didn't even know it.

My friend Janet brought me this pomegranate from the tree in her yard and got me hooked. I didn't even know I liked them.

This is how Izzie likes to do school some days.

 Lego robotics class

 trampoline jumping with Treya.

Homeschool fieldtrip to Fort Vancouver and old trading post fort and what our city was named after.

It turned out to be a perfect beautiful weather day for this!

Halloween

The time we found an apple the size of my daughter's head. It fed a family of six. We were a bit disappointed because it was sort of mealy but it had an interesting lemon flavor. I can't think of the variety name at the moment.

Waffles for dinner! And an apple the size of Izzie's head.

On Halloween, I took the girls to John's office so they could show off their costumes and we went out to lunch.

 Daddy and Izzie

We got to go to Music class in costume, then we went to the library, because it's fun to go do stuff in costume.

Cards from Grandpa and Grandma in the mail!

Somehow our traditional meal before we go trick or treating is messy red spaghetti. Not sure how that quite happened, but we've made spaghetti every year on Halloween.

Dad about to take the kiddos out while I stay back to hand out candy.

And they are back with the loot.
