Pumpkin Carving

After reading a bit about Leonardo DiVinci the girls did some art projects in his style. One thing he was known for is deconstructing objects or inventions and drawing all the parts. So I had the girls bring me one of their more elaborate Lego Minifigs and do just that. Here is Izzie's.

And this is Maddie's.

This is a sleeping Ripley Pug. Because he's so cute in this photo.

One of my friends invited us over for supper and some pumpkin carving and we had a grand ole time. She and I sat in the kitchen cooking while the dad's helped the kids carve pumpkins. It was such a fun evening!

I love this tree on my street. Each year the leaves look like fire before they all fall to the ground.
