Setting up the supplies to dye eggs. Luckily the weather was perfect for this to be an outdoor activity.

Waiting for your egg to get dark is so hard!
The only picture of me. John snapped it as I was tossing my hair out of the way. I'm so cover girl.
Izzie's checking out Maddie's blue egg.

If you look closely next to Izzie you see green dye spilled everywhere. John was the messy one today!
Eggs. I really want to do natural dyes, but this year I just grabbed a quick kit.
Later we got out our skates.
Holding hands for balance.
The Easter Bunny visited our house!
He brought bunny ears, pinwheels, a chocolate bunny, funny chopsticks, glow in the dark bracelets and giant erasers among a few other odds and ends.
The bunny also left some eggs to for us to find. It was still a bit chilly so we threw on our coats over our nighties and went out hunting.
Izzie found some eggs near the pond.

Then we got dressed up to go to church with Daddy. Izzie and Maddie.
After church, one of my new friends invited us over to her parent's house for Easter. There were some other friends too, so it was a big pot luck, fun and relaxing day. There were also plenty of kids for another Easter hunt!
Maddie and Izzie. I'm pretty sure they are eating Jelly Beans in this photo!
Izzie hanging out with Ms. Emily.
All the kids eating lunch.
There were three of these cars and the kids all had fun driving them around and around the yard.
John taking it easy.
It was so wonderful to be invited to a big Easter celebration. We are used to a large family gathering, so it was nice that it wasn't just the four of us sitting at home. It really made us feel so welcome and part of something wonderful to be taken in this way!
