Today was the highly anticipated PAMOM pumpkin patch social! I have actually been looking forward to it for a couple of weeks since the ladies in charge of organizing it said that there was going to be animals to feed and pet, a hay ride, tractor train and of course a pumpkin to take home! It was located WAY out in Celina, Texas. Which ended up being just under an hour away from us. But the place was very pretty, with big shady trees, lots of decorations and kids galore! Our group wasn't the only one out there today so it was very crowded. And even though we ended up not going on the train or hay wagon we still had a great time. The girls LOVED feeding the goats. I think they would have stayed there all day to let those silly goats tickle their fingers.
I made a picnic lunch for us and we spread out our trusty picnic blanket and had a fun lunch in the shade with Ashley, Dustin, Lila and Zella. I saw a lot of PAMOM members milling about with their kids so we had a great turn out. Maddie said her favorite thing today was feeding the goats, Izzie said she liked picking out her own pumpkin the best.
After the pumpkin patch, I went over to mom's house to use her treadmill for a bit while the girls took a nap. Then I came home to fix dinner since my friend Melanie was coming over with her girls. What a blast we had! The kids all were running around the house playing chase, Melanie and I were discussing PAMOM business, and toys got everywhere. But it was such a fun time. I really want to do that more often!
