The two minute Target trip

I just got back from Target with the girls. We spent a whopping two minutes in the store. No, it isn't what you might be thinking. They were great. It was their mommy who had a brain-burp.

I went to Target last Friday for groceries. When I got home, I realized that the huge block of cheddar cheese I had bought was moldy. So, this morning I decided to take it back. I figured I'd take the girls to get out of the house for a bit. I'd pick up some more diapers and a few other things that we were running low on that I didn't get on Friday. Luckily I went to the Guest Service counter first. She was going to put the cheese money back on my debit card. I reached for my debit card and realized that it was sitting on my desk from last night, when I bought something online. So, she gave me cash and I loaded up the girls and we came back home. So that was my two minute Target trip. John should be impressed. I've never been in and out of Target that fast and definitely have never came out of Target with more money than when I went in before!

Wow! I guess that's what I need to start doing. Just leaving money at home. I swear, I can go in the store, on a mission to buy ONE thing...$50 later, I'm swearing up and down that I MUST stop going to Target!

This is hilarious! I too can NEVER go to Target and walk out empty handed... but my pockets are usually empty!
