Izzie tutu princesses extraordinaire.

Princess have to take time to read a good book every now and then.

Some princesses like to climb towers so that the prince can rescue them.

Maddie Princess Extreme

Playing princess.

My girls are girly-girls. Which does not bother me in the least. I love girly. As long as they have a bit of tom-boy in them to balance things out, we'll be okay. They love shoes and they love dress up. They bring us bibs to put on them, they try to wear daddy's hat, they put rattles on their arm for braclets. They are very resourceful. After naptime today, I remembered I kept their tutus and tiaras from Halloween because I knew they'd make great dress-up one day. I did not think that day would be this close. I got the girls down from nap, gave them snack and then surprised them by pulling out their tutus. They were super excited to see them. I don't think they remembered them, but I think they just loved the material. I put them on over their clothes and they spent the next 45 minutes dancing and prancing around the house. Maddie would "preen" her tutu to make sure it was super fluffy. It really is cute. Izzie kept pulling off her tiara, looking at it and then crying to make me put it back on. It was hard to get a good picture because they seriously would not sit or even stand still. They were a blur of motion from the time they got crowned until dinner time.
