A three hour tour

"Just sit right back and hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip...." This morning John came home from work early to finish the day out at home. When he got home I had just put the girls down to nap and so I decided to go out and buy their new car seats. I've been researching the new carseat forever and I had it narrowed down to 2-3 choices that I wanted to check out in person. Well I had heard that there is a new Babies R Us in Allen and that it wasn't that hard to get to from where I lived. So I decided to be adventurous and check it out. Somehow I got lost using my new GPS. I'm still trying to get used to it, but that is another story. After about 3 calls to John, I found the new Babies R Us. It's in a really great shopping center that is all brand new. When I got there the carseat I wanted wasn't sold at that particular location. So call number 4 to John. The girls are doing great he said, go to the other store. So I drive to the Plano location. I see the carseat I thought I wanted and I didn't like it. It just didn't look comfortable. I decided to go with number two off my list. While I was there it was a zoo. I think everyone was at Babies R Us today. They were having a great sale. The carseat I ended up with was on sale. I also saw a cool looking toy that I figured the girls had to have. Another call to John. He said, "Go ahead, sounds fun." So I bought the Fisher Price Home. My whole adventure took three hours. I thought I was going to be gone for a little over one hour. But in the end Maddie and Izzie have new chairs and a new toy.

When I got home, I had the girls in "the pit" (the toy room) and I sat outside and put together their new toy. They were having fun watching me put it together. Although Maddie started to get cranky because she couldn't wait to play with it! After I finished putting it together I pulled out one of the carseats to show John. Izzie knew exactly what it was and climbed right in!

Izzie. I LOVE this expression on her face!

The weather was pretty nice and we needed to get out for a bit. They love this wagon.

Izzie and Maddie are "helping" me put up the dishes.

A new toy I bought for the girls. It has about a trillion different things to push, open or twirl.
