Maddie in her newest nighgown. I love the polka dots! It's hard to believe they are already outgrowing their 12 month size clothes! It just seems like yesterday when I was trying to find a bunch of 12 months because they were outgrowing their 9 months.

"Whatcha lookin' at?" - Maddie and Ripley (or dig-ee!)

Izzie playing her latest game. She hands you something, and you say "Thank You." Then you have to give it back to her and she tries to say "Thank you" back.

In the online world of message boards and in mommy clubs, MNO stans for Mom's Night Out. What a great concept. Usually a bunch of Mom's from playgroups get together for dinner or a movie. Last night wasn't an official one, but I just needed to get out of the house for a while. The girls have been great all week but every once in awhile, I just want adult conversation that isn't with John or my Mom. (Even though I love them both!!!) The problem is, when I get like this, it's usually sudden and not something I plan for. I called up my new friend/PAMOM buddy Sarah and luckily she was avaialbe to go out to eat last minute. Since she's pregnant with twins and I have twins, we did talk about babies some, but it was so nice to talk about other things too.

We went to Zenna's a Thai and Japanese restaurant that was really great! I get to where I only eat at Olive Garden, On the Border and Chili's and so I asked Sarah to pick. I'm glad I did. I got to try something new.

John did great with Maddie and Izzie and I was home in time to nurse them and tuck them in bed. He said that he had fun playing with the girls. They were mimicking him. He put a toy on his head, and then Maddie and Izzie would do the same. It sounded so cute!

Today also marks ONE WEEK from the girls 1st Birthday! I can't believe it. It seems like yesterday I was nursing the girls and thinking HOW can I do this for a whole year? Now, I'm not ready to stop! We've weaned down to three nursings a day, and soon will replace the mid-day one with whole milk. As for the morning and night nursing, for the moment I'm just playing it by ear.
