Standing up

Maddie, Momma and Izzie and Red Robin.

The girls loved their balloons!

Maddie's first science lesson... static cling!

Aren't I cute, Nana??

What a fun and busy day we've had today! The morning went by pretty quickly, which is surprising since the girls woke up a bit early today. But the next thing I knew it was nap time. After nap time, Maddie, Izzie and I joined my mom for lunch at Red Robin. They like that restaurant because of the balloons you get when you walk in the door. They enjoyed playing with their balloons sitting in their highchairs. After lunch we came back home and all played in the toy room for a bit before nap number two.

Nap two was interesting because I put them down, but instead of going to sleep, they stayed in their room "talking" for about 40 minutes before they fell asleep. Not one single cry, just babbling away up there. Then quiet. It was really nice that they put themselves to sleep that way. Right as they woke up from nap number two, Grandma and Grandpa came over to visit!

We sat outside to visit out on our deck. The girls were sitting on the deck with us. Right in front of all of us, Maddie pulled herself up on the deck chair all by herself! She's barely been crawling for a few days and now pulling up. It's lightening fast how they are gaining new skills daily.
